MEET OUR PHARMACISTS
Jean-François
Graduated from ISIPCA, Jean-François starts his career in the perfume's industry in 1997 together with independent perfumers who taught him precision and perseverance. Furthermore, his energy along with his thirst for discovery have allowed him to become a great creative nose.Immediately afterwards, and wanting tobecomespecialist of the subject, he enters fragrance houses that dedicate their savoir-faire in scents for use in home and personal care products.After that, he integrates Parfex in 2012, specialist in fine fragrances. He joins in the development of the Middle Eastern market and blends rich and beautiful ingredients in which he has a true fondness.Elegant and imprinted with fantasy, his creations are just like Broadway musicals he esteems so much and that drive his passion for singing.
Alexandre VIRE
Alexandre was trained by an independent perfumer in Grasse for four years who taught him that patience is the one quality to engage in such occupation. He discovered the universe of perfume all by himself, and it has quickly become a passion since. He find his aspiration through the world of gastronomy mainly. Creating a fragrance is close to escapism, because it deals with a special emotion on a journey. In love with natural raw materials, he says essence of Davana is one of its favourites, it brings this fruity and liquorous note that he likes so much in fragrances.
Lucie LOPEZ
After she graduated from a master in perfumery, Lucie started her career near Grasse before she joined drom in Germany for 9 years. Trained by Jan van Elst, former director of IFF's perfumery school, she builds up a solid cross-category experience. She draws inspiration from her travels across the world where she enjoys immersing herself in the local flavour and scent. This shines through her olfactive creations as well as in her cuisine.
Marine JACOLIN
Marine is a granddaughter of perfumers. Her family is linked to the history of perfume in Grasse: her ancestors are Morel, owner of Lautiers Fils, the first company to treat labdanum to make ambery bases and the Saisse family owner of Cavalier Frères, specialized in the distillation of orange blossom. After having graduated from the well-known ISIPCA school in Paris, she integrated the perfume school of Charabot in 1995 where she trained in treatment and reconstitution of natural raw materials and CPG/SM analysis. Her many works with Master Perfumers such as Marcel Carles, enabled her to become an expert in the creation of fine fragrances. Passionate about natural raw materials, especially vetiver, she's been working for Parfex for 16 years and has developed lots of COSMOS perfumes and cosmetic fragrances for famous houses like Dior. She gets her inspirations from her travels and her fascination about other cultures. She says olfaction represents this citation: «< c'est tout un monde...
Floriane DELAVET
Floriane grew up in a magnificent scented region called Aix en Provence, where she learned to passion herself for plants and their smell. The scent of orange blossom reminds her of when she was little; noticing that, she became conscious of the power of odors and their story telling. For this reason, she entered the famous school of perfumery, ISIPCA. She had a first training experience in IFF before integrating Parfex as an Analyst Perfumer to perfect her knowledge for natural and synthetic ingredients. Finally as a logical follow-up of her career, she's offered a job in the Parfex creation team in 2018 as a Perfumer to fully live her passion and tell us wonderful scented stories. We are proud at Parfex to drag passionate people at the top.
